Getting into the groove is important. Once the rhythm is set one can easily do a set of 100 squats without fatigue. One must remember to keep the back straight without the butt sticking out. This is very good for the muscles of the lower back. A set of Hindu squats is best alternated with a set of Hindu push-ups (dive bombers, say one set comprising of 30 squats and 20 push-ups, we could do about five such sets to form a comprehensive workout. When done in combination with the Hindu push-ups the exercise is great for the whole body. One can try these for both muscle gain and weight loss. Beginners need to go slow on the number of repetitions, else the thighs and shoulders would be in real agony.

I have heard someone talking about this style of squat. They said
that it was about 15x harder than a traditional squat. I'm not sure
that is accurate though since this guy was not that strong to begin
with.

Thanks for the information! I think Jillian Michaels has a
variation of this move on her 30 day shred video. This is a little
different, though. I'll have to try this and report back to you.
What I like is that it does not have some of the same risks that
traditional weight lifting squats have, in terms of damage to the
knees. .-= Steve´s last blog ..<a href=
