Well as you know there are a ton of philosophy's out there on working out.  I tend to believe you can workout everyday.  For one it keeps you committed and you don't think well I can miss one another day.  This is the philosophy Herschel Walker subscribed to and it worked for him.  He worked out 365 days a year and 366 on leap years.  What I would do however different from him is mix it up a little.  Work the lower body one day and work the upper body the next day.  On your upper body days keep alternating between a push and pull exercise.  On the lower body days work the intensity a little.  Do hindu squats lunges and sprints.  I also through some fullbody workouts in as well such as burpees.

I think it is good to see that you are walking but for sure you are going to need to push the body a little more.  I like the philosophy of intensity and do sprints vs jogging and walking.  I mean when I am working I take walks but never for 60 minutes.  However durging workouts I subscribe to the inensity philosophy.  I like pushing myself a little.  However, only do this when you body is ready as you will only discourage yourself away from working out.

Hello,

What would be a good full-body workout using my bodyweight?  I was thinking of the following:

- Hindu Squats

- Hindu Pushups

- Pullups / Chinups (alternated on different days)

- Atlas Dips (i.e. pushups on 2 chairs)

- Table Makers

- Reverse Pushups (pushups while lying on your back)

- Wall Walking

Could this workout be done daily, or are "rest days" needed?

I'm currently walking outdoors for 60 min daily and I love it, but want to add some calisthenics for strength building.

Thanks!

Greg
